Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
My ex boyfriend ran off a few weeks ago with $1200 i filed a report and a warrant was put out for his arrest. Two days i found $800 of it in one of his moving boxes (obviously where he had either dropped it trying to pack or where i had thrown it in with the remainder of his belongings) . I have recently been in contact with him and we have resolved the issue and he agrees to pay the remaining $300 to me. Is there any way I can drop the charges. (He has a clean record and children and i know everyone makes bad choices)

Crime is against the State
You'll need to talk to the DA or Solicitor in your county
Doubt if they will drop charges as he did steal from you (whether $1100 or $300, it is still theft; but he might be charged with misdemeanor if he really only took $300)
Good luck
