Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
I am a current resident of the state of GA. My girlfriend is 19 years old which makes her an adult in GA and does not want to live in her parent's home any longer for personal reasons. If she were to leave their home, would her parent's be able to legally make her return if she did not want to? If she were to move in with me, would her family have any kind of legal case against me? Such as suing for emotional distress against me even if it was her choice to leave?
