Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
possible discrimination (for customers) at FedEx Kinko's?
Hello,
I am a regular customer at a local FedEx Kinko's location in Duluth, GA. Last night, when I went to drop off a package, I asked to borrow some tape. The clerk told me that it was their new policy not to loan out tape, one must purchase. I was OK. Another customer walked up to her and asked for tape a minute after. She lets him use it. They both happened to be African-American and I am Asian. So I asked the lady why that was the case: I was denied while he was granted. She denies and she told him the same thing about the policy. I was standing there and witnessed that she let him use it. The lady who was helping me out was very apologetic and the shift manager as well. But not that lady. Please advise.

Do nothing. It's just tape.
