Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
i filed a 1983 lawsuit for jail officials not placing me in protective custody do to me not being able to provide names of persons who wished to harm me i asked them to contact the drug squad to verify i needed p.c. but they didnt he said he checked jail comp. system and didnt see i need p.c. i was placed in general pop. and was beat up i lost my case cause i couldnt provide names is there anyway i can appeal if so how long do i have and if i couldnt provide names shouudnt something have been done

Your post as posted makes absolutely no sense at all, so I hope you did not file a suit pro se, as the judge would be as mystified as the attorneys here are. If you feel you have grounds to sue someone, get a lawyer.
