Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
Hello,
I am currently on probation for felony theft. Because of the first offender law it doesn't show on backgrounds checks. 3 months ago I purchased a firearm from a dealer that runs background checks and i was able to buy it. So do i have all the same rights anyone in Georgia would have as far as caring it and getting a licenses?

You are probably in violation of both federal law and your probation. You were ineligible to buy a gun and are ineligible to own one.
