Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
my husband was arrested on feb 14 for back child support he was transferred from summerville ga to whitfield county jail i asked the officers who arrested him to take his medication they didnt i got a friend to take them to the jail they didnt transfer his med with him he went for two weeks without his meds he still isnt getting all of them he is unable to work and trying to get his disability he is sleeping on the floor on a thin mat with no pillow he has severe copd trouble breathing he is supposed to sleep with his head elevated for breathing purposes what can i do he has no income no way 2 pay anything i heard the civil liberties union had a law suiw against ga because if your indegent they cant arrest you please help my husband by replying to me his health is very bad im afraid he will die in jail

You can't get arrested if you're poor? Where did you hear such nonsense? Of course you can be arrested if you are poor and break the law.
As to health concerns, discuss this with (1) the jailers, and (2) his lawyer. If he is indigent, certainly he has asked for court appointed counsel (if he has not, why has he waited?), and that lawyer will be able to assist him.
