Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
My leased home was recently damaged due to the floods in Georgia. My landlord refuses to refund my deposit and is requiring me to pay the remainder of of the lease. Am I responsible for this and can he keep my deposit?

Do you have a lease agreement? That may have answers. If you do not, or if it does not, you may have a claim for constructive eviction. You may want to talk with a lawyer about this if you can't get it worked out alone.
