Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
I am the main borrower on a auto loan, my ex is the co-signer. We split up and he took the car. The registration is in both names. What are my options?

The only good one -- contact him and discuss one of you buying it AND refinancing it so the other one is completely off the hook, or selling it so both of you are off the hook even if it means one or both of you coming up with some money if it won't sell for enough to pay off the loan. This is what you signed up for by buying the car together, and this same question is posted day after day -- sometimes over a house. You have no more rights, obligations or options than he does.
Scott is correct
You can stop paying on it and let him have it but you are still on the hook for the entire loan That is a bad choice
Or, you can refinance it in his name only since he obviously wants it
Good luck
