Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

I am a middle-age female and I now consider myself the product of cyber-bullying and cyber-harassment due to posting a book for sale. I purchased several books at the Goodwill on Sunday October 16, 2011 to be resold on my web sites. One particular book has caused a ruckus. "Kill Bin Laden" signed by the author and other participants in the book. I posted this book along with other items on my Kijiji free posting web site and craigslist on Monday October 17, 2011.

The author Dalton Fury sent an email posting on Monday 17 but wasn�t until Tuesday October 18, 2001 as when the horror began as I checked my email and became bombarded with questions and accusations of thievery concerning this book by Mr. Fury and others. I have been emotional and psychologically taunted through emails from the author and others. They have committed character assignation upon me by calling me a thief and to take law enforcement action against me if I do not return this book or sell it to any of them at their discretion of the price. (Delta force members). This particular book is dedicated to the Boortz family(???) and Mr. Fury wants it back.

I viewed my Kijiji web site (where I have over 100 postings) Thursday October 20, 2011 and my web site is suspended due to a complaint that the �Kill Bin Laden� book is stolen material. Mr. Fury, his Delta force commandos and others have defamed my character and are scaring me.

On Wednesday October 19, 2011 (approx. 9ish. p.m.) my home was blasted with hi-beam vehicle light, unrecognized voices and a large faced brightly beaming flashlight circling my home. I didn�t answer the door. Next day I received an email from John Dunn (Jamie) relaying that it was him wanting to retrieve this book and that he (they are persistent in their efforts) He has impeded on the tranquility of my home and property.

I now am in frightening anticipation for more unannounced and unwanted visits to my home from anyone involved in the dishonest tactics to recovery this book by attempting to forcible pressure me to relinquish my ownership of legally purchased merchandise through their emotional and psychological efforts of intimation and terrorization. I have a receipt and quite sure that the Goodwill can furnish the video.

I have since placed a police report and my email address has been compromised thus most of the confrontational, harassing and intimidating emails concerning this matter have been deleted thought I made copies prior to this incident.

Can you assist me with these dealings?

This is an anonymous general information website, so no one here can assist you with these dealings (unless you hire them). You have taken the first step and that is to file a police report. The next step is to hire a lawyer to take action - perhaps get restraining orders or seek other relief.

In addition, you need to discontinue using names and other identifying information on websites such as this (where it violates the rules). Your post is now fully searchable in google and anyone who does searches for the names and terms will find this post and your allegations and accusations. Obviously, the people involved will know exactly who you are. It was a mistake to post this information on here and can only serve to cause more problems.
