Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
I have a piece of equipment(Skidsteer) that has been on my property for 2 years 7 months. The owner contacted me last year, said he was going to come and get it, but he hasn't , yet. How long does this equipment have to stay in my yard, before I can dispose of it
Property is in my name, my late husband was a diesel mechanic, it was brought to our property for him to work on. he passed away in February of 2012, the skid steer has been here since September 2011. I have contacted the owner by phone on April 7, 2014, left a message on his voicemail. he did not return my call. Before my husband passed away, he was looking for a engine for it and found one, but the owner did not want to put that kind of money in it to fix it. It was going to cost $15,000 to replace the engine.I have a huge engine taking up space in one of my parking stall and the equipment behind the storage building
