Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
Someone reported they heard gun shots and I was pulled over on the side of the road looking for my cell phone not even on the road the gun shots were reported in and a police from another county passed me and called in the description of my truck as the suspect involved in the shots fired causing me to be searched in the freezing cold for thirty min. Is that legal? Giving the description of my vehicle just bc I was pulled over about a mile from the road the shots were reported on?

Of course, it is legal for the police to investigate reports of gunshots.
