Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
my sister was attacked by a woman and her boyfriend a couple of days ago. The couple was taken to jail but somehow the next day they are out. My brothers didnt like how bad they did my sister so they found the guy after he was released and beat him. When the police arrived at my sisters house, my brothers were nowhere to be found. My sisters didnt have any knowledge about what my brothers were planning but the police, listening to the mans girlfriend(the other half of the couple that started everything to begin with) told my sisters that since they cant find my brothers they were going to arrest them. So they took my sisters to jail. Is that even legal?

Depends - although, at first blush, it appears that the officers arrested her for interfering with their investigation with very little, if any, probable cause. Need more information: i.e., what did she say? how did she say it? did her "story" change? etc
