Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
In the state of Georgia, does the school have the rights to keep my daughters in their school system after being withdrawn? My family and I are relocating to TX, we are leaving at the end of this April 2011, I withdrew my kids on April 05, 2011, now they are sending me notices and I found out from the school district that the case has given to a social worker, is this legal?

Of course it is not "legal" to withdraw your children from school for no apparent good reason. From your post, your kids have missed (or will miss) almost a month of school before you move, and the appropriate authorities are going to question why. You will no doubt have to explain why your kids spend a month or more out of school, and the fact that you say you are going to move a month later won't likely be a good explanation.
