Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia

being sued for accident

I was in minor collision 1.5 years ago where I did not see an oncoming car and pulled out in front of it. They are just now sueing me in civil court, I'd imagine compensation for personal injury, all though it seemed very apparent to me the person was not injured as she was throwing her arms and body around in anger and the description of injuries appeared to be fabricated on the spot to me. I will have to get a lawyer apparently, but how likely is it that I will be sued and for how much? There were no visible injuries the medics could find on the woman, and she was totally mobile at the time of the accident.

Re: being sued for accident

I'm confused by your posting - have they filed suit? If so, then it is obviously very likely that you will have to defend it. If they have not filed yet, there is no way to determine how likely it is that they will file. The extent of the bodily damages would be determined by a doctor.
