Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Georgia
unfair dismissal
i was presented by my executive director with a performance improvement plan (PIP) that was one-sided and out-right unfair. when i contacted HR, I was told that HR was unaware that this PIP was presented to me. I was also told that the company would not have allowed the executive director to present me with this PIP had they known he was going to present it to me because the executive director did not provide substantial evidence to show that the PIP was warranted. I resigned because of this PIP and the way I have been treated. My question is: Do I have grounds to sue this company because of this?

Re: unfair dismissal
It sounds be unfair, but would not give rise to a legal claim based on your facts.
