i was wondering how can you get charged with child molestation if you and the person didnt do anything.. but her mom pressed charger but her daughter wrote a statement stateing that they didnt make out or anything.. the girl is 14 and they guy is 21

That means the guy needed a lawyer on day one -- not someone asking on an internet website, unless decades in prison and a lifetime of sex offender status is not important.
