Legal Question in Technology Law in Georgia
If a company hired me to right a system/program to replace an older one, and I was never given or had to sign a contract of employment or copyright agreement, and the company agreed to have the system copyrighted in my name, does that make the system my property?

Absent an agreement to the contrary, your employer would own the work product since you were an employee and created the intellectual property as an employee, on company time, using company resources, etc.
