Legal Question in Technology Law in Georgia
I am getting a divorce and I suspect my wife of having an affair before we seperated. Is it illegal to access her e-mail account to see if I can find evidence of an affair?
Thanks,

I would not access her email. More and more courts are throwing out evidence that is obtained through nefarious means (violating someone's privacy). I strongly recommend hiring a private investigator instead -- it's worth it. In Georgia, a spouse who has committed adultery is generally not awarded alimony.
Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******

It's a felony. You could go to jail. And evidence you obtain illegally could be inadmissable in court anyway.
