Legal Question in Technology Law in Georgia

Email Violation

Is it against the law to read someone's work email if they are unauthorized to do so? If so, what is the penalty in Georgia if there is evidence that a co-worker has been reading your email?

Re: Email Violation

Unfortunately, there is probably no specific law that prohibits this type of conduct, but there are possible civil issues that could arise privacy, breach of contract, etc. I would need to know more about your case before I could give you a more complete answer.

If you would like to discuss any issues further, please feel free to contact my office. My contact information is below. Thank you.
