Legal Question in Technology Law in Georgia

Hello,

I am currently with an ISP who is employing a tactic known as "Bandwidth Throttling". I've read through their EULA and it doesn't seem as though they specifically state they reserve the right to change my bandwidth as they see fit, just a vague description of "advertised speed may not always be correct" - which I can understand. However, I have hundreds of logs (I am somewhat techy) that show an attempt to emulate the computers on my network (I use the firewall on my router as well as an IP blocker) more than 150 times in the span of a minute or two usually causing my router to cut all connections (DDoS). I will be more than happy to release the name of the ISP if necessary, however my concerns are if what the business is doing is legal and if not what can I do about getting the service I'm paying for?

If you aren't happy with your service, the best strategy is to switch ISPs, and try to ask some questions from them before you sign up. You won't have much luck in resorting to legal remedies against the current one.
