Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Georgia
While I was in jail for a charge I received a Deposit Account Fraud Citation from the Magistrate Court telling me that I had to either pay the fine which was equal to the amount on the citation and cash bond or do 12 months, I wasn't given the chance to even enter a plea, is that legal? Then there was another time when I went before the magistrate court judge and entered a plea of Not Guilty for the Misdemeanor but had to bond out on the charge which was equal to the amount of the fine and still didn't get a chance to go against the plaintiff to get my money back, is that legal? Please help me out cause i'm really lost on this one.

What does your lawyer say? Surely you hired one when you were charged.
