Can you appeal a small claim court judgement and what does appeal of dispossessory mean?

Re: Appeal
Within a certain amount of time you may appeal a magistrate court opinion. It will then be sent de novo to state court, i.e. the case will start all over in state court. In state court, the rules of evidence, discovery, pleading, etc. apply. I would advise retaining local counsel to assist in your case.
