Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia

Building Estimate

We are currently in the process of building our home. The foreman gave us a quote and we proceeded with building. It turns out, due to an error on the foreman's part, that the quote did not include something it should have (framers), costing our estimate to increase by $15,000. Do we have any legal recourse here, or must we simply pay the extra $15,000 because he ''forgot'' to include it in our original estimate?

Re: Building Estimate

You refer to a "quote" and "estimate," but the key word is "contract." You fail to stated the terms of any contract, or if one exists.
