how many days are allowed

If a contractor request a change order for work and it has 10 days of extension. How many days would be added to the contract if the C O is not approved for 30 days but the contractor starts the work.

Your relationship with your contractor is based on your contract. We have no way of knowing what your paperwork says about change orders, or any other matter.
