Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
Are there any laws or regulations about builders keeping records of materials or contractors used to build homes? Or, is there another agency that is required to keep records?
I suspect the builder of my home did not follow Georgia construction codes. I called the builder to ask about the roofing materials he used, and he claims that it was too long ago for him to remember.
My home was built around 2006 or 2007.
Thank you!

No - You should be able to see (or have a construction expert tell you) what is on your house.
