Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
Is it legal to retrieve equipment from a job for non payment of services? i.e. water well construction- pumps, pipe, etc... If we have the customer sign a form stating that equipment will be removed/repossessed for non payment prior to construction.

That depends on the written contract. Certainly if you are in business you retained a lawyer before starting business to draft a contract to cover these situations.
Absent proper paperwork, you would be committing a felony theft and could go to prison.
If you have counsel, pursue the remedies counsel set up for you. If you act based on flawed paperwork, you could be in severe trouble.
