Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
I paid a company one half the payments for a roofing job. After they stated that the job was completed. I brought to their attention that new roof vent pipes had not been installed according to the contract. No one returned to repair the problem. I sent two emails and two registered letters. They have sent me two bill reminder statements and have also made a request for the balance due from my home owners insurance company. Should I take them to small claims court?

Maybe, maybe not depending on information you did not give.
What does your contract say?
For example, if they completed more than half the work, you may owe them money in the case you filed. You need to sit down with a lawyer.
