Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
i performed some septic work on a residential property and the customer is not paying - can I go back and remove the materials that I installed?

Unless your written contract says you can, no. (If you are in business you should have a lawyer and he should be writing your contracts and he should have written various remedies to protect you. If you made the bad mistake of not hiring a lawyer to do your contracts you missed that opportunity).
You may, again depending on the paperwork and whether you have acted quickly enough, be able to place, with a lawyer, a lien on the property, and then use the courts to collect. Again, see your business lawyer, as you should have a procedure in place with him for such collections.
