Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia

We purchased new windows from a reputable company several years ago. The contract came with a really good warranty (lifetime/transferable). A week ago I noticed moisture between the double paned storm windows and called the company. I knew there shouldn't be moisture between the panes. I was told that it seemed that a seal must have been broken somewhere in the window. I asked if someone could come to our home and check it out. I was told that the company who actually made the windows had gone out of business and that they were not responsible for replacing this window. It would cost me approximately $150.00 for one window and $75.00 for any other windows thereafter. My question is, why isn't this company standing by the initial contract which I have signed by their technician?

You did not tell us who exactly is responsible under the warranty, and you are asking for a guess as to why the company is not "standing by the initial contract." You need to tell us who are the parties to the contract, and specifically how you believe the contract (incl. warranty) was breached.
