Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia
Does a "Waiver and Release Upon Final Payment" form need to be notarized if the subcontractor has signed the form?
Statement "State of Georgia" and "County of _______________". Would that be the county the construction project was permitted in, or the county that the form is being signed/notarized in?
Thank you very much.

Waivers generally do not need to be notarized. The county is where the waiver is signed.
