Legal Question in Construction Law in Georgia

Hi I was wondering in the state of Georgia if there are any rental provisions regarding mold in a unit, moreover in an entire complex. Every time rain is in our area we have countless leaks and the building is very old. Since I moved into this unit approximately 2 years ago I have had countless health issues and have spent some various large sums of money on doctors visits. Is there anything that I can do to correct this and prevent this from happening to future tenants?

You are not in charge of "future tenants" and do not speak for them. If your apartment has a real problem that causes real health concerns, and after you have exhausted efforts with the management to fix it, you may have the right to terminate the lease because of a breach of their obligation to provide a habitable apartment. That does not mean that you just move out, and that is a step you don't take based on responses here. If you have renewed the lease, the obviously question is why? That makes little sense, just as it makes little sense to stay in a place for 2 years that harms your health, regardless of damages for breach. What is your health worth? Was it easier to spend "large sums of money." You don't say a word about your communications with tham about the issue. The story does not make sense.

Finally, given the questions of why you have lived there 2 years and other suspect issues, keep in mind that apartment complexes are used to tenants suddenly coming up with issues when they want to move and get out of a lease. If that is the case, it rarely works.
