Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I was taken for $460 from a travel website
I purchased a travel package on a website, thinking airfare was included, it
turned out that it wasn't. I immediately tried to cancel and they wouldnt give
a refund ($476). I disputed with my bank and lost the dispute and the money.
My bank says it was because it said no refunds in their terms and conditions.
I think I should get my money because when I made the transaction they
asked times of departure like they would when getting airfare. I was misled
into thinking I was also recieving airfare and thats why i should get a refund.
I have read several other accounts on threads of other people who were taken
for thousands by this company (cheap tickets.com) basically what I want to
know is can i do a class action suit? how would I do that? Most importantly
though, what is my personal legal recourse and are there lawyers that will
take my case and take no payment unless I win? Thank you for your time.

Re: I was taken for $460 from a travel website
If your actual order did not include airfare, and nothing stated that it did, then you really have no recourse. No one can really give you a firm response without looking at your actual order and confirmation documents, but it appears you merely made an assumption that was not reflected in your actual order.
