Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

auto repair

had car serviced at dealership. tech left off clamps which cause hose to lay against a spinning part on the alternator. car broke down. had car tow to another dealership. 2nd dealer found that 1st tech used a socket to piece together the hoses, which would have caused a leak in the future. i had to get rental car, pay tow expenses, dry clean suit etc. this caused me mental anuguish and stress. i want to know if i can sue for more than just my expenses and also if this may become a class action suit because the dealer may have used a socket to piece together hoses for other consumers that probably had leak. what about punitive damages? and also the massage that i got because i was so stresses out. inconvenience? this is a reputtable dealership.

Re: auto repair

A dealer making a mistake in a repair is not a gravy train to wealth.

You're entitled to the repair costs the mistake caused, and probably the towing. If you make ridiculous demands like you posted the dealer will probably refuse to talk to you. If you politely gather the repair and towing bills and talk to them, odds are they will cut you a check. If they don't you can pursue that amount in small claims court.
