Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Auto warranties
I purchased n Isuzu from my sister. It is a 2004 and has a 7 yr or 75,000 mile warranty. The powertrain is damaged. The warranty is only transferable to immediate family. Of course, my sisiter and I share the same last name, but I am married. they say that to honor the warranty, you must have the same last name. Now they don't acknowledge that my sister has a warranty

Re: Auto warranties
Well, I would contend that my sister is in fact a member of my immediate family. She certainly was when we were kids; why should it be different now? Consult with a local attorney. These guys are notorious for not honoring warranties.
