Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I bought a 2001 ski boat that was susposed to be in exenlent condition and perfect running condition. When I got to the lake it broke down on me. Took it to the boat shop and it had a cracked engine block due to improper winterization of the previous owner. Is there anything that I can do to make him help pay for repairs.

You failed to tell us the most important detail. What are the terms of your contract, and does it say there is a warranty or right to a refund? If not, assume you bought "as is" and you should have taken the opportunity to take the boat to a mechanic before purchasing. Cracked blocks can almost always be found in a basic inspection.
If your contract included a warranty or refund clause, you may have some rights depending on the contract language.
If your contract does not, you pay for the repairs.
