Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I bought some special order cabinets from Home Depot in Roswell Ga, and when they arrived they were very poor quality. They were made of MDF and I was not told they were not made of all wood; they were poorly constructed so that parts did not meet and were hanging off. I had the Home Depot representative and American Woodmark Representative inspect them and they said they'd take them back - for a 20% restocking fee. I was told I had 60 days to return these cabinets after i received them and this is within that 60 day time period. Am I legally obligated to pay this 20% re-stocking fee?

What does the special order paperwork say? The answer as to what return rights you do (or don't) have is on that paperwork and you chose not to tell us that.
