my car
my mom's name is on the title of the car for insurance purposes, but it was gifted to me. Can my mom now take my care away from me? I am a 20 year old student and financially responsible for the car.

Sure. The legal owner is the name on the title.

Her name on the title carries a lot of weight. Proving a gift will be difficult. Consult with a local attorney.
