Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
City of Norman Park GA.
I am noy sure, i choce the correct law, but here is my question. on our water bills thay have a flat fee for sewer and another charge for every 1000 galons disposed of. that charege is based on how many gallons of water is used. but all water used is not desposed off by way of sewer. example.... drinking water. water for pets , water for cooking, macking tea, kool-aid,watering flowers, garden, lawn, wasing cars, icemackers and e.t.c. so how can thay legaly charege for something there is no meter showing how much water is acutly going into the sewer??
and with these added charges it is doubling the amount of bill.

It's perfectly legal (and is how most water systems bill). Your remedy if you dislike it is either to move to a place that has wells or to attempt to elect representatives who might favor a different billing system.
