Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Contractors and Civil Law
We have a judgement, in Heard County Court. We have filed ''FI-FA''. We have done a titles seacrh, he owns nothing. We are working on garnishing his accounts. Is there anything else I can do ?
Per Coweta County Majistrate, we can not do anything criminal to this man, even though he walked into to our home and got a check for 5,300 dollars, never called, never showed up , and never delivered any goods.
Does anyone have any suggestions ?
Thank you

Re: Contractors and Civil Law
I would take what the magistrate told you with a grain of salt unless, of course, he/she is the one who would issue a criminal warrant. Talk to a local attorney. It sounds like you may have exhausted your collection methods. However, your local attorney may be able to help.
