Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Is there a way for me to get out of my Dish Network contract without having to pay the $400 fee? I had a bad install, which damaged my new wood floors, poor wiring (going through doors), and a poor signal. I called the day after installation to cancel service and was told that I am stuck with their 2 year contract. So I cannot use the service, as it doesnt work in every room, and what does work is not clear. The Dish installer admitted that the image was pretty bad and said that I should have chosen Directv.

Whatever rights you have are in your contract, which we have not seen, and likely the answer is no. You certainly do have the right to compel them to fix the install and your service, and to repair the damage.
