Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
email request legally binding
email conv w ad rep told her ready to proceed with 1/4 page ad over email. she asked for fax to send over contract/credit app to sign. Never sent back. Ad was sent to print without my final approval. Am I legally bound to the 12 month ad, since I never actually signed the contract or credit app? I did tell her I was ready to proceed in email (July 11), but never submitted the documents. Deadline (Aug1) came and went without any correspondence on either side. Next comm was Aug10 (way after deadline) asking me to make changes if needed. Immediately responded with ''I am not ready please hold ad until further notice''. Reply received Aug11 stated my email (July11) was my commitment and the ad would go to print. Not sure I like this, but if I am liable I will pay.

There is no way to know without actually reviewing the documents.
