expired food
if a restaurant sold food that was expired can a lawsuit be filed...the expiration date is clearly labeled on the item, but it was still sold...negligence.

The passing of an expiration date does not mean the food is bad (just as being inside the expiration date does not mean food is good). The inspectors may have an issue with it, but it is not a payday for someone who suffered no damages whatsoever byond a possible refund.
