Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
Does Ga. have a FOIA law?
I am trying to get some info from the City of Kennesaw.
Does Ga. have a FOIA law?
If so, where can I find it?
If not, does the Federal FOIA apply to Kennesaw?

Yes it does. The Georgia Open Records Act that is found at O.C.G.A. 50-18-70 through 50-18-76. You can read the code sections at http://www.legis.state.ga.us/htdig/search.htm.
This answer, though responsive to the question, is general in nature. It is not designed to be and should not be relied on as your sole source of information when analyzing and resolving a specific legal issue. Each fact situation is different; the laws are constantly changing. If you have specific questions regarding a particular fact situation, I urge you to consult with competent legal counsel.
Re: Does Ga. have a FOIA law?
Kennesaw's web site will give you any county ordinances on point--follow the links from the Cobb County web-site. Georgia does have a law of sorts regarding disclosure of public information. I am unaware of the scope of the federal FOIA law but would presume that it doesnt apply to states or municipalities. You did not mention what information you were wanting.
