Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
I gave my "friends" $615 as my portion of a ski condo rental. My name is not on the rental agreement. These "friends" are being stinky jerks and it would be in everyone's best interest if I bowed out of the ski trip, however, they are refusing to return my money.

Did your agreement with your friends allow you to get out of it if they became "stinky jerks?" This was the risk you took, and if you choose to back out you have to expect to lose the money. They relied on you and your money when they obligated themselves to pay for the rental.
If you back out you should expect to lose your money. You haven't asked a legal question. Either go enjoy the trip you paid for, or choose not to and lose your money. A lawyer can't decide that for you, and obviously you can't make the others pay for your change of heart.
