Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

Georgia law of rescission

I was looking to purchase a used car based on budgetary reasons. Instead, on 10/14/05, I purchased a 2006 based on the percentage quoted by the dealership and the discounts the dealer said he would give. The next day I went to complete paperwork and noticed the contract indicated a percentage almost 4% higher than what I had secured myself and more than what they quoted. I had them re-print the contract using my financing source. Then I noticed they did not give any discounts towards the car as they said they would. Because I had just sold my car to a private buyer I signed the papers but told the manager I did not appreciate how this was handled. He said he would take care of it but I have not heard from him yet. What legal recourse do I have? Can I return the car and try to get a used car?

Re: Georgia law of rescission

You may have a right of recission, but I can't give you reliable advice in this type of format. You need to have a local attorney review the documents.
