Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia

I was interested in purchasing a car. So an eager car salesmen picked me up from my home and brought me back to the dealership. After a few hours I was able to walk off of the lot with a signed contract without making a down payment on a 2013 car. I have had the car for 2 days and received a phone call from the dealership stating that I now need a co-signer or the contract will be cut. Is this legal? I have already signed a contract and have had the car in my possession for two days I have also purchased insurance for the car as well and the dealership stater they are not willing to reimburse the insurance. What should I do?

Return the car. If you read the contract you almost certainly did what you should never do,and that's buy a car without preapproved financing, and what you did was common, a contract contingent on getting financing approved. The dealer is obviously not going to reimburse insurance that protected you for those few days. Next time, you go to the bank or credit union first, get a preapproval, and only dealer finance if they beat your rate.
