Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
A law firm in Georgia got a summary judgment against me for a credit card debt. I contacted them via email to make payment arrangements. They agreed to let me pay it off in sixty days in two installments. They wanted to know when to expect the first payment. I gave them a date and I sent them a money order via certified mail by that date which was a Friday. The following Monday, I saw on the online court docket that they had filed a request for FIFA. What does that mean for me now? Thanks.
