Lien Time frames
Is there a required amount of time during which a consumer must be notified that a lien has been filed against their automobile? Does the person filing the lien have to notify them at all?

I know of no requirement that the person filing the lien notify the auto owner. (However, if I filed a lien, I would WANT the owner to know, so as to apply pressure.) Consult with a local attorney. You may have to pay for a modest about of legal research time, since this is not the type of question that lawyers are called upon on a daily basis to answer.
