Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
mortgage payment history inaccurate
my mortgage lender has shown inaccurate histories on my statements and my credit report.I have spoke to them and submitted proof of payment several times in the last 14 months. Each time fees would be waived and next statement would display current payments. My payments were drafted from bank biweekly using an equity accelerator program offered by mortgage lender. Now mortgage lender claims that payments are 3 months in arrears and is forwarding default letters to me. I have written a letter of formal complaint to lender and included copies of bank statements, mortgage statements, equity accelerator payment history and all letters received from lender to again provide proof of payments and to request correction of credit reporting and letter to address inaccurate entries and remedial actions taken to correct. I believe that short of filing suit I have exhausted all requirements to correct this issue.

Re: mortgage payment history inaccurate
You should contact a local attorney. I just recently read an article about a certain HUGE nationwide lender who has been sued for doing what seems to be the same thing as in your case.
