Legal Question in Consumer Law in Georgia
We went to a Nissan dealer and agreed on a deal. we signed a buyers order to be sent to our credit union to secure financing. per our request: On the buyers order the salesman wrote that the deposit is contingent upon a certain product and financing, we initialed. The dealership did not sign. CU said they cant write the loan because the car is valued less than priced. I went to get our deposit back. the refused. Can they legally keep our deposit.

That completely depends on the detail you did not tell us - the contract says what happens to the deposit. Since you chose not to tell us that, your post cannot be answered. The contract is the answer.
